LABORATORY TECHNICIAN - ELECTRICAL

  • Role: The main role will be to manage the engineering laboratories and help the teaching staff in conducting laboratories smoothly.
  • Qualifications: NAB or equivalent qualification – NVQ Level 4

 

TECHNICAL OFFICER -ELECTRICAL

Technical Officer (Electrical) is responsible for all electrical installation and maintenance work services for continuous maintenance and upkeep of the University's buildings and infrastructure.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • NDT in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution
  • Has 5 years working experience in electrical installation and electrical maintenance

 

TECHNICAL OFFICER – CIVIL

Technical Officer (Civil) is responsible for provision of all Civil work services for continuous maintenance and upkeep of the University's buildings and infrastructure.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • NDT in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in civil work under buildings maintenance and infrastructure

 

WORKS ENGINEER

As the head of the maintenance division, Works Engineer (Facilities Manager) is responsible for building maintenance needs assessments, coordinating civil, electrical and mechanical system design and operation including day to day operations of AC systems, Sewer Treatment Plant, Power Generators, Elevators, Plumbing work, Janitorial services & Garden Maintenance etc. and overseeing ongoing construction projects on campus.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or an equivalent obtained from a recognized University or a Higher Educational Institute
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Works engineering in a reputed government or private organization

 

SENIOR LECTURER / LECTURER

SCHOOL OF COMPUTING

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or a Higher Education Institute in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Electronics and Telecommunication or related disciplines preferably with a first class.
  • Master’s Degree and preferably a PhD from a recognized University or a Higher Education Institute

 

SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or a Higher Education Institute in Computer Engineering or Electronic and/or Communication Engineering preferably with a first class.
  • Master’s Degree and preferably a PhD from a recognized University or a Higher Education Institute

 

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or a Higher Education Institute in Marketing, Logistics and Operations Management and Tourism or related disciplines preferably with a first class.
