Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK, visits the NSBM Green University Town


Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK, visited the NSBM Green University Town on 29th November 2017. The visiting party met with the Vice Chancellor Dr. E. A. Weerasinghe, deans, and the course directors and lecturers of both schools of business and computing to discuss on the NSBM Green University Town as the foremost degree school in Sri Lanka. The party also had a tour of the site, and met with a few students to talk about their experience at the first ever Green university township of South Asia. They were very impressed with the facilities and the student capabilities. NTU is nationally recognized for outstanding teaching, research, engagement with employers and student satisfaction. It is one of the most sustainable universities in the world and has been awarded Green Flags for Brackenhurst and Clifton Campuses. NTU has approximately 27,000 students and has invested £350 million since 2003 across three Campuses to create an inspiring learning environment. They offer great employment prospects to students at all levels.
