NSBM Green University had a very successful first round of discussions on 26th June, to offer helicopter license school in Sri Lanka with partnership of IWS HOLDINGS in Sri Lanka and Swiss Helicopter which is Switzerland’s leading Helicopter Company. Dakshina Perera from IWS and senior officers from Swiss Helicopter, was participating in the discussion.
Helicopter pilots are highly skilled individuals who complete many hours of training to earn their licenses. Becoming a helicopter pilot requires time, energy and money. Training depends on whether the student's career goal is to be an instructor or private or commercial pilot. Some schools offer partnerships with colleges and universities that allow students to work toward a degree in aviation while completing their flight studies.
IWS HOLDINGS is one of the largest diversified companies in Sri Lanka, own and manage a varied portfolio of industries. Swiss Helicopter runs a flight school in Switzerland approved by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA) and they can offer you helicopter pilot training in accordance with the latest European regulations as well as a range of advanced training options. Currently there are no such schools in Sri Lanka. As a modern university partnership with NSBM, IWS Aviation and Swiss helicopters has the best professionals and sophisticated facilities to engage with a broad range of aviation trainings.
